There truly is nothing better than waking up to beautiful sunshine. The sensation alone puts me in such a good mood that dragging myself out of bed becomes less of a chore and more of a delight. It is the only time of year I wake up feeling like a Disney princess… well, kind of.

Hello all and welcome to 2026! I can still say happy new year, right? I took a small break to recoup, as Christmas and New Year did not go the way my family and I had planned, and, of course, watch The Traitors for the very first time. Can I just say wow, what a show! I was gripped from the very beginning all the way to the end. Spoiler alert: I am so glad Rachel and Steven won. However, one of my beloved and favourite shows was back on our screens. Yes, The Apprentice is back, ladies and gentlemen!

Christmas is my favourite time of year. I think it is mainly because, just like a magpie, I love anything sparkly. There is something so comforting about walking up and down the Christmas section in a shop and browsing all the baubles and decorations. I get completely mesmerised by twinkly lights and the little Christmas village displays. I also really enjoy putting up lights at home and going out to see which houses in the neighbourhood have decorated for the season. I am lucky because where I live everyone goes all out for Christmas, and everything looks especially lovely once it gets dark.

Autumn well and truly feels like it is here. The weather has gotten colder, and I may have already popped on an extra blanket at night. I know, I know, but I really feel the cold, and there is nothing worse than waking up and finding your room chilly. It does not work for me, and it certainly does not work for my sweet little piggies. They cannot regulate their body temperatures, so it is up to me to keep the room at a nice level. Otherwise, you end up with some very fluffed-up little people, picture finger in plug socket vibes.

When I think of strong women I truly idolise and look up to, Susie Wolff is high on my list. I have so much respect for her as she continues her fight to bring more women into Formula 1. As someone who has lived and breathed the sport, she understands the daily struggles and battles women face in being taken seriously in F1, even as fans, let alone as drivers.

Stepping into a small mountain village in Crete for an authentic Cretan night felt like stepping into another world, full of music, laughter, and the warmest welcome imaginable. My favourite night and experience during my holiday to Crete was the Cretan night. This experience took us up into the mountains to a charming, old-fashioned village where we could enjoy everything that makes Crete so special. Whenever I visit a new place, I like to immerse myself in the local culture by trying new foods and learning about the island’s history. This evening was the perfect way to truly understand Cretan life, and I can tell you one thing, the Cretans really know how to host.

I recently got back from a holiday in Crete, where I stayed in a small, quiet village called Gouves. Normally, I tend to travel to Spain or the Canary Islands, but with all the recent protests this year I decided to try the Greek island of Crete instead. Life on this island feels very different from back home. It is slower paced, there are no pushy waiters demanding money for the bill, and the atmosphere is overall friendlier and more relaxed.

For the Italian Grand Prix, I, along with a group of friends, decided to take it all in at the Birmingham F1 Arcade. I had visited the arcade a few times before and attended a watch party last year as well. I always loved going to the watch parties. The atmosphere was fantastic, being surrounded by other F1 fans whose oohs and ahhs almost made it feel like you were at the theatre. Doors for the event opened at 10.30 am, with the race itself starting at 2 pm. As you arrived, you were welcomed by friendly staff dressed in sequin jackets. I would have loved to have one of those sparkly jackets. The venue was decorated with Italian flags all over, giving it a real Italian Grand Prix feel.

I can feel autumn arriving soon. The nights are gradually drawing in, and the daylight is slowly fading. Everywhere I look, the signs are there. TikTok creators are sharing their autumn décor inspiration, and shops are swapping out summer styles for warmer clothes in classic autumn colours like browns, oranges and deep greens. It is becoming impossible to ignore that summer is winding down.

Of course, I absolutely love Formula 1 and some might even call me a fanatic, but I also have a real passion for the British Touring Car Championship.
